Agape Sunday Abebang was born in Kaduna, Nigeria. He is from Calabar, Beckwara local government area in Cross River state, South-South Nigeria. His father, Mr Abebang John, was a minister in Chapel Of Better Hope Mission and from an early age he developed a love for both music and the gospel.

For me, songwriting is something I have to do ritually. I don’t just wait for inspiration; I try to write a little bit every day.
